RULES AND REGULATIONS SCHOOL TIMINGS

8.45 AM – 12.45 PM  & 1.15 PM-3.30 PM

  1. All students should speak English in the School premises.
  2. The students must be in the school premises at 8.30 a.m. without fail.
  3. Late comers will be allowed into the classroom only after obtaining prior permission from the Principal.
  4. Every student must get a copy of the calendar and bring it to school daily.
  5. Strict regularity, Obedience, Courtesy in speech and Conduct, Respect towards elders, Cleanliness in dress and person are expected from every student.
  6. No leave of absence is granted to the students except for serious reasons. The written applications should be signed by parent or guardian. In case, the student absents herself/himself without prior permission, He/she must bring his/her parent or guardian when he/she returns to School.

DISCIPLINARY RULES

1. All students are requested to be punctual for daily assembly and attend the Morning Prayer.

2. During working hours no student should leave the classroom or the school premises without the permission of the Principal.

3. Permission to leave the school premises during school hours will be granted only on producing a letter of request by the parent or guardian.

4. The students must always be respectful to all the Teachers.

5. Regular attendance is compulsory.

6. The students must be punctual for classes, on working days.

7. Absentees should not enter the classroom without prior permission of the Principal. The attendance of the student will be marked as follows:

a. If the student submits the leave letter – L (leave)

b. If the student has submitted the Medical Certificate with the leave letter – S (Sick leave)

c. If the student has not submitted the leave letter at all – A (Absent)}

8. The students should not absent themselves on the opening and closing day of a term or after special holidays like Christmas, Deepavali, Pongal, etc., In case of sickness the school authorities must be notified in time and a Medical Certificate is to be produced.

9. The students who forget to get parents signature or alter marks in the progress report will be liable for expulsion.

10. No gift or any sort of incentive either individual or collective is to be given to the teacher.

11. Silence should be maintained in and around the campus.

12. The students are forbidden to wear gold studs, chains and anklets or any other precious ornaments. The school authorities are not responsible if they lose them.

13. In the absence of the teacher, the class leader will be responsible for the order and discipline of the class.

14. When the students walk along the corridor while changing classes, they must walk in silence and in a single line. They are forbidden to run either into the classroom or in the corridor.

RULES FOR PARENTS AND GUARDIANS

1. Parents are requested to co-operate with the  management in supervising their children at home and helping them to learn better.

2. Parents should send their children in time to school.

3. If a student is absent over a period of 60 days without a leave letter, his/her name will be removed from the school register.

4. Parents are not entitled to meet the class teachers during working hours. They may meet the class teachers before 8.40 a.m. and after 3.40 p.m. or on open day or on the special permission of the Principal.

5. The report card will be given to the parents in the respective classes after every terminal test, it must be signed and returned.

6. Open day will be held after the Quarterly Examination and Half Yearly Examinations, where the parents are requested to meet the teachers and scrutinize the progress of their children.

7. If the student is absent for any examination for whatever reason it may be, there won’t be re-examination.

8. A week’s notice in writing is required for the issue of the T.C. The requisition should be made by the parent / guardian of the student concerned.
